The results are in….

An annual survey (by the Centre for Brand Analysis Ltd.) has been published showing the top brands of 2010 based on the following criteria:

  • Style
  • Innovation
  • Originality
  • Authenticity
  • Desirability
  • Uniqueness

So which made the list?

The winners were chosen by a “panel of experts” and 2,300 consumers (were you one of them?  Me neither) and this is the chosen top 20:

  3. iPod
  4. Blackberry
  5. Bang & Olufsen
  6. Harley-Davidson
  7. Nintendo Wii
  8. Google
  9. Ferrari
  10. Dom Perignon
  11. BBC iPlayer

  13. Apple
  14. Tate Modern
  15. YouTube
  16. Mini
  17. Chanel
  18. Ray Ban
  19. Alexander McQueen

A pretty broad scope of brands…..

  • Three designers
  • Seven technology brands
  • Three cars
  • One motorbike
  • A search engine
  • A cosmetic company
  • A stereo company
  • A sunglasses producer
  • A wine producer
  • An art gallery.

My favourite in that list has to be Google – couldn’t get through the day without it (oh, and it makes me smile when it’s a special day and Google does something cool with its logo….).

I could not live without Google either and as for what’s missing well it’s Wellyracks of course! Fits in to all the above criteria 🙂
